No matter what one’s personal  political beliefs are, the vast majority of us believe that our country  is headed in the wrong direction. Indeed, the very economic, legal, and  social foundations of this nation are being eroded beneath us, a process  that began many years ago. Human beings are the most studied creatures  on earth, and there are social engineers who exploit their knowledge of  human nature, psychology, and basic tribal instincts to keep people  divided. A people divided against one another are much more easily  conquered. The amazing truth is that the vast majority of us want the  same things: freedom, justice, prosperity, security. The difference is  simply deciding on the best means for achieving these ends.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;So what is liberalism? It is certainly a  dirty word in Republican vernacular, and as such it shows deep ignorance  by the conservative establishment. Classical liberalism was at the  heart of the American revolution. &lt;a href="http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/liberalism" target="_blank"&gt;Webster’s&lt;/a&gt; defines liberalism as &lt;span class="ssens"&gt;  “a political philosophy based on  belief in progress, the essential  goodness of the human race, and the  autonomy of the individual and  standing for the protection of political  and civil liberties.” Does  this definition ring true when examined in light of today’s Democrats?  Over the years, the so-called thought leaders on the left have supported  a more synthetic progressivism, merging it with liberalism, defined as &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span class="ssens"&gt;“a  philosophy that considers government as a crucial  instrument for  amelioration of social inequities (as those involving  race, gender, or  class).” Obviously, demigoging issues like race, gender, and class is  more commonly known as socialism or communitarianism. These semantic  games have confused what fundamental American values are!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;How has the fight for equality and social  justice gone? Martin Luther King, Jr. never fought for  institutionalized economic equality, nor did he seek for the state to  intervene into issues of personal association. Many of today’s civil  rights activists are very radical, and very well funded by the big  tax-free foundations. Many of these groups are unapologetically racial  by nature, and irritate for special group rights. As dangerous as these  activists can be to social harmony, much more dangerous are the forces  who seek to forge these groups into political weapons. Americans today  are already remarkably culturally tolerant, and have come along way  against racism. At this crossroads in US history, populist solutions are  absolutely essential.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Unfortunately, President Obama has been  incapable of doing the things needed for America to begin to sniff an  economic recovery. He has kept in place all of the terrible provisions  from the Patriot Act, the Military Commissions Act, and all of the  Executive Orders from the Bush Administration. He has continued the wars  in Iraq, Afghanistan, and expanded into Pakistan, Yemen, and possibly  Iran.&amp;nbsp; Despite claiming to be the most transparent administration in  history, he allowed the SEC to have FOIA exemptions, has fought a war  against government whistle-blowers, and given more power to the private,  unaccountable Federal Reserve. Obama has also given diplomatic immunity  to Interpol, even when operating within the United States. He  essentially allowed the insurance lobbyists to write the healthcare  reform bill, and has attempted to make an end-run around the  Democratically held Congress by pushing environmental regulations  through the EPA! His administration helped to fight off an audit of the  Federal Reserve, they have done nothing to wind down the too-big-to-fail  banks, and have apparently allowed the derivatives trade to continue on  in the same manner for the foreseeable future. The most outrageous  thing about Obama is that when speaking to the public, he makes it clear  that he understands why the people are angry, and why the system needs  to be fixed. The fact is, he was a junior Senator who came out of  nowhere in 2004. He had no substantial record to speak of, and owes his  position to the special interests that paid for his campaign.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;You all know that the Republicans are bad  news; the sad truth is that both parties are hopelessly corrupt. If we  are to return to our truly liberal roots, where our neighbors have  opportunities for prosperity and our children grow up free, we must  reject the international socialism pushed by the anglo-american  political establishment, the multinational corporations, and the  globalist financiers who have bankrupted the planet one-hundred times  over. Moreover, if we do not retain our national sovereignty, we will  have no control over our nation’s destiny. In simple terms, liberals  care for their fellow man; &lt;i&gt;I cannot be truly happy if my neighbor is in despair&lt;/i&gt;.  Under the banner of liberalism, government has forced its way into  virtually every aspect of human existence. Even if you have faith in the  current political leadership, do you recognize the danger that we are  in considering the broad scope of the government’s authority?&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Classical liberalism is one in the same  with libertarianism. Congressman Ron Paul is by far the single  politician whose views are most closely in line with the founding  fathers. Tyranny, in all of its forms, is as old as mankind itself. No  philosophy is as progressive as maximum individual liberty. Many fear  the ugliness that human beings are capable of, and rightly so. But what  about the evil, corrupt faction who takes control of a big, powerful  government! That is where we are today. We need a government as an  arbiter of disputes and to uphold contracts, to provide for a common  national defense, and to enforce the borders of the nation. But the  primary role of government is to ensure the preservation of the people’s  liberties. The unprecedented individual freedom that was secured in the  American Revolution inspired the innovative minds of a free people to  create the mechanism for true progress. American’s have consequently  been blessed with more free time, more disposable income, and a higher  standard of living than any prior civilization! Libertarian ideals beget  a tolerant society, that until recent years had been the envy of the  world. Ron Paul has a record going back nearly 40 years in public  office. You will know he is right when the media demonize him, mock him,  and try to induce fear in the public rather than attempt to understand a  nuanced, yet common-sense philosophy, antagonistic to the Washington  political establishment.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Finally, the Fortune 100, the Council on  Foreign Relations, and groups like the Rand Corporation have crafted  nearly all major legislation passed by the Congress in the last twenty  years. Even well meaning bills that liberals support are full of  exemptions, loopholes, and last minute riders. These laws have not  leveled the playing field by any means, they empower those with the most  inside influence and the most lobbying capital. The great mistrust of  corporate America is justifiable, and just possibly, the means to an  end. President Obama was elected despite his stated intention to “spread  the wealth around.” Bush’s close relationship with big business was no  secret, and many Americans hoped for some socialism, and for some  revenge on major corporations. The fact is, these corporations today are  our government, for all practical purposes. The real wealth  redistribution has gone to the banks that over-leveraged American debt,  and stuck us with the bill. This, along with the Federal Reserve system  generally, is not the fault of the free market. If the justice system  was willing, the bankers would go to prison, and the crooked firms would  go bankrupt. Instead, these failed banks are receiving transfusions of  the people’s cash to stave off economic collapse. If we want socialism,  we will get socialism- with the same bankers running the IMF and World  Bank as the new Global Fed. The United Nations has all types of  authoritarian measures ready in waiting, that will become law if the  Congress signs the Treaties. Research the final goals of the Club of  Rome and the UN’s Agenda 21. That is your future! Ron Paul stands  against all further international assimilation, and for the US  Constitution as the only law of the land.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: center;"&gt;Just as it’s true on the other side of  the aisle, the average Republican voter is not your enemy! The media  opinion-makers work as a gatekeepers; not just for political candidates,  but also to set artificial parameters for debate. Anyone who thinks  outside the corporate box is labeled a kook, an idiot, or an extremist.  Case in point is the public outcry against secrecy at the Federal  Reserve. Virtually no major media figures were out front pushing for Fed  transparency, and even fewer economic experts or financial talking  heads. After the banker bailout that was TARP, the people were outraged  at the bonuses and the inside deals. Do keep in mind that it was the  Democrat majority that passed out the trillions to Wall Street. The  Republicans, who are always harping on the budget deficit, decided to  make their fiscal stand against the unemployed. Pretty sick that they  will shell out billions for wars, but none for the people in need.  Listening to Limbaugh, Hannity, and the rest of them, it’s difficult to  support any Republicans. That base level of disgust and apathy is  counted on by the establishment. The Ron Paul revolution has the  potential to be the single most informed populist movement in decades.  If we respect eachother’s freedom, we can take our country back, and  have a real debate about the society we wish to live in (instead of  letting the CFR have the debate for us). The device in her hand appeared  to be a commonplace cell phone.&lt;br /&gt;But viewed in light of the paramount law enforcement concern,  “officer safety,” Greenfield was transformed into a potential SMERSH  assassin. So the heroic Sgt. Jonathan Burke of Ohio’s Delaware County  Sheriff’s Office simply &lt;i&gt;had &lt;/i&gt;to arrest her, confiscate her property, and hold her in jail for three days, &lt;a href="http://www.dispatch.com/live/content/local_news/stories/2010/07/29/Deputy_confiscates_womanxs_cell_phone.html?sid=101"&gt;reports the &lt;i&gt;Columbus Dispatch&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;At least, that’s how we’re &lt;i&gt;supposed&lt;/i&gt; to view what was done to Greenfield and her boyfriend, Colton Dorich, on July 9 at a Flying J truckstop near Columbus.&lt;br /&gt;Like many others their age, the vacationing couple was funding their  trip across the country by soliciting donations from other travelers.  While this could be called panhandling, it isn’t a crime.&lt;br /&gt;Dorich’s sign — which he displayed while walking his dog — triggered a  passerby to call the police. When Burke arrived, he demanded that  Dorich produce ID.&amp;nbsp; Melissa withdrew her T-Mobile phone and announced  that she was quite sensibly making a record of the event “for legal  purposes and our own safety.”&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span id="more-62566"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Unfortunately, Greenfield didn’t  understand that in any encounter between an armed agent of state  coercion and a mere Mundane, it is only the former who is entitled to  protection.&lt;br /&gt;“When a sheriff’s deputy encounters an individual holding something  in his or her hand, the deputy will take action to identify the item.  This is done for the safety of the deputy, the involved parties and the  public,” insisted Delaware County Sheriff Walter L. Davis III.&lt;br /&gt;Of course, “safety” in this context supposedly means unqualified  submission to those wearing the habiliments of the state’s punitive  priesthood, who are indoctrinated to believe that they are compassed  about by countless potentially lethal threats.&lt;br /&gt;“Not knowing what the item in her hand was and having prior knowledge  of all types of hidden weapons, including a cell-phone gun, I asked her  several times to place it in her pocket and to keep her hands free,”  wrote the timid Sgt. Burke in his official report.&lt;br /&gt;Several years ago, .&lt;a href="http://www.iacsp.com/deadly-decoys.html"&gt;22-caliber pistols disguised as cell phones were&amp;nbsp; seized in raids against organized crime syndicates in Europe&lt;/a&gt;.  This generated a small wave of alarmist stories about this new threat  to “officer safety,” one that supposedly changed the “rules of  engagement” in police encounters. The disguised pistols are heavier than  common cell phones; the chamber is loaded by twisting the “phone” in  half. To date, not a single “deadly decoy” of that kind has materialized  in the U.S.&lt;br /&gt;Burke demanded that Greenfield surrender the camera. She properly  refused that demand. So the armed stranger abducted Greenfield under  color of supposed law by arresting her and charging her with  “obstructing official business and resisting arrest.” (Dorich wasn’t  charged.)&lt;br /&gt;The young woman, who was wearing a neck brace following a traffic  accident, was held in jail for three days before pleading no contest to  the spurious obstruction charge, for which she was fined twenty dollars.  The equally bogus resisting arrest charge was dismissed.&lt;br /&gt;After it became clear that the mysterious object Greenfield carried  was a common cellphone and not exotic Eastern European spy tech it was  returned — but the video record of the police stop had been erased.  Fancy that.&lt;br /&gt;As he Burke drove Greenfield to jail, he lectured his kidnapping victim about the supposed danger&lt;i&gt; she&lt;/i&gt; posed to &lt;i&gt;him&lt;/i&gt;. We empowered the media and the Democrat party to push an obscure State Senator from Illinois into the office of President of the United States in a mere four years, needing only a teleprompter and some broad promises of "hope" and "change". During the course of the 2008 campaign, several questions arose regarding Obama's past associations, including Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, and Saul Ulinsky, to name a few. The significance of those relationships were never truly explained, only scoffed at by the mainstream media. The truth is, following the huge bailout that was the TARP banker takeover (and eight years of the Bush administration being perceived as in the pockets of multinational corporations), Americans didn't mind hearing then candidate Obama talk about "&lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoqI5PSRcXM"&gt;spreading the wealth around&lt;/a&gt;." Understandably, the workforce has seen their &lt;a href="http://mises.org/daily/2847"&gt;wages stagnate&lt;/a&gt;, their jobs shipped overseas, and the &lt;a href="http://krugman.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/08/13/even-more-gilded/"&gt;income gap&lt;/a&gt; become the largest since the age of the robber barons at the dawn of the 20th century. I would contend that the power elite had their man exactly where they wanted him when the fateful Joe-the-plumber controversy unfolded. For every American who knew what "spreading the wealth around" actually entailed, there likely stood two who were all-too-willing to opt for the idea of a &lt;a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P36x8rTb3jI"&gt;free lunch&lt;/a&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Socialism-inclined Americans should have raised their eyebrows when Obama ran back to Washington in the midst of the campaign, to prod the Congress into bailing out the so called "too big to fail." But there were innumerable reasons to be skeptical of the junior Senator from Illinois. The most obvious being his absolute lack of any relevant experience. The man had only been in the US Senate for two years prior to his presidential campaign, and voted "&lt;a href="http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2008/01/24/fact_check_obamas_present_votes/"&gt;present&lt;/a&gt;" many times so as not to take a firm stand on controversial issues. This should have been a startling red flag for anyone even remotely concerned with the issues that face our country. Just as troublesome was the fact that most all of the man's records- &lt;a href="http://www.nysun.com/new-york/obamas-years-at-columbia-are-a-mystery/85015/"&gt;academic&lt;/a&gt;, &lt;a href="http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=79174"&gt;medical&lt;/a&gt;, etc.- had been sealed, as if we were supposed to just read his book and take it all at face value. No, this man seems to be a nearly complete fabrication! Who knows if he is an naturalized American citizen or not? It should not matter, because anyone with a brain should never have voted for the man. Americans have allowed the globalist political establishment to install their man at a crucial point in the history of world civilization. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; And what about the police state? Surely, the professor of constitutional law would roll back the Bush administration's assault on the Bill of Rights. Undoubtedly, the civil rights attorney would put America back on the path to social justice. Indeed, Obama had campaigned against the most egregious sections of the Patriot Act, calling the bill "&lt;a href="http://consumercal.blogspot.com/2009/12/president-obamas-patriot-act-reversals.html"&gt;shoddy and dangerous&lt;/a&gt;." He also rightly decried President Bush's use of executive orders and signing statements, calling it: "&lt;a href="http://www.boston.com/news/politics/2008/specials/CandidateQA/ObamaQA/"&gt;a clear abuse of power to use such statements as a license to evade laws that the president does not like or as an end-run around provisions designed to foster accountability&lt;/a&gt;." Well, throw all that out of the window. After struggling to get his administration's agenda through the Congress in his first year (it's those pesky constituents), "&lt;a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/13/us/politics/13obama.html"&gt;President Obama and his team are preparing an array of actions using his executive power to advance energy, environmental, fiscal and other domestic policy priorities&lt;/a&gt;."&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; It's not looking good, America. You already know that the President has ordered the continuation of &lt;a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/25/us/politics/25rendition.html"&gt;rendition&lt;/a&gt;, claims the authority to &lt;a href="http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/02/03/AR2010020303968.html"&gt;assassinate US citizens&lt;/a&gt;, and has his own &lt;a href="http://spectator.org/archives/2009/02/18/obamas-enemies-list/"&gt;enemies list&lt;/a&gt;. I suppose it does little good now to browbeat my fellow Americans who fell for the old "hope" and "change" cliches. But, please, let this be a lesson: Demand real vetting of candidates, and if you're not getting it from the media, do some research on your own. Check the record before voting for your public servants, and if it's hard to come by, move on to another candidate. It would not be a bad idea to vote against whoever is getting the most media coverage and the most corporate donations. To illustrate just what I am talking about, the establishment candidate was clear months before Election Day. According to the &lt;a href="http://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/01/opinion/01brooks.html?_r=2&amp;amp;oref=slogin&amp;amp;ref=opinion&amp;amp;pagewanted=print"&gt;&lt;i&gt;New York Times'&lt;/i&gt; David Brooks&lt;/a&gt;,&lt;br /&gt;&lt;blockquote&gt;"When you break it out by individual companies, you find that employees of Goldman Sachs gave more to Obama than workers of any other employer. The Goldman Sachs geniuses are followed by employees of the University of California, UBS, JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, National Amusements, Lehman Brothers, Harvard and Google. At many of these workplaces, Obama has a three- or four-to-one fund-raising advantage over McCain." &lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: left;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; As most of us will admit, big money is everything in Washington. The special interests effectively are the government, and most of the regulators come directly from high positions within the companies they are now charged with overseeing. Barack Obama is a yes-man for the corporate and banking elite, just go back and read from the Brooks' article above. It is well documented that after the TARP banker takeover was passed, the Federal Reserve decided not to spend the money on the home mortgage crisis. The average Joe (if he still has a job) has become more productive at work year after year, has had a stagnant real wage since 2001, and his employer pockets a larger percentage than at any time in the last fifty years (thanks for that increased productivity!). The wealth has stopped trickling down, and we shouldn't be surprised: what with tens of millions of illegal immigrants flooding the ranks of the workforce, formerly middle-class jobs being shipped to India, Malaysia, etc, and the wholesale selling-off of America's industrial capacity.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The important thing to remember is that if we had the will, we could actually make some people accountable for this! (Please research Maurice Strong, Club of Rome, and the UN's "Agenda 21") These control freaks (and the politicians they bought off) were planning the demise of free humanity and the dismantling of the self-sufficient industrial base of the United States over forty years ago. With the passing of the Patriot Act, and the creation of the Department of Homeland Security, the debt incurred by the US government has doubled many times over since the end of the Cold War. There has been no peace dividend for the American people, as the corporate fascistic empire swallows up the entire planet.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;The middle class is indeed contracting, and the income gap between the rich and poor increases year over year. Middle class manufacturing jobs that just a few years ago paid $25 to $30 an hour aren't just being shipped overseas. Large corporations who as of yet are forced to keep their manufacturing jobs in the US, due to FCC regulations and the like, hire no new employees. Rather, they hire a permanent temporary work force for $10 an hour from the multitude of staffing companies who have sprung up as middle-men between the employee and the employer. For example, Motorola owns a virtual monopoly on the mobile and portable radio systems used by government and law enforcement agencies across America, and less than 25 percent of factory workers are full-time Motorola employees. I know, because I spent 18 months there hoping to prove myself worthy of full-time employment with the company. The enormous profits made off of that communications equipment, almost exclusively subsidized by the taxpayer, provide negligible levels of employment to the community in which it resides. Self-touted good corporate citizenship is usually proclaimed in terms of workforce diversity and environmental stewardship, not in providing people with good jobs and livable wages. We all know that business today is about the bottom line; not even "are we profitable," rather "are we above or below quarterly projections." With the exception of those of highly specialized degree fields, being a member of today's American workforce makes it difficult to desire to fight for the cause of capitalism. Unfortunately, that is exactly how the globalists want the people to feel: lacking confidence in individual liberty and the free market. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; In the West, as in all of the industrialized nations, socialism has led to an overwhelming bureaucratic tyranny, unfunded entitlement obligations that number in the tens of trillions of dollars, and an erosion of the personal freedom that created the conditions for the prosperity of the past. Today, the debt is (for all practical purposes) too large to pay back. The system of fiat currency and central economic planning has put the world's wealthiest interests firmly in control of the future of humanity. Although the New World Order agenda was well in the works before 9/11, the attacks were essential for convincing Americans that it was necessary to give up their liberties for the sake of security. The DHS is the mechanism for tracking, tracing, and surveilling the final resistance against the NWO, namely: American patriots, libertarians, veterans, and Constitutionalists, as listed in the MIAC and Homeland Security documents of the Spring of 2009. The political establishment set up Barack Obama to bring the United States into socialism; however, thanks to omnipotent corporate greed, even the liberal Democrats realized that bailing out the banks, brokerage firms, and the insurance industry was not socialism as they knew it- it was a reverse wealth redistribution!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Unsurprisingly, from socialists in Congress to the member of the worker's party in the street, "real socialism"- as opposed to Stalinism - is a utopian ideal that cannot exist in reality. Society, and mankind as a whole, will not progress as a species without the animating contest of freedom. Limited government is a key to an innovative and motivated people. Socialism is the exact opposite; a huge welfare state requires a bloated bureaucracy to spend and distribute the wealth. Those at the top of the hierarchical pyramid, such as the long sought benevolent dictator, will never accept being of equal wealth as the commoner. Moreover, those members of the socialist bureaucracy will always leverage their position for personal gain. It is but human nature, and so it should be understood that any benefit provided by the social safety net of the modern welfare state is far outweighed by the cost of losing the creativity and innovation present in the soul of the free human being. In America today, after working 40 to 60 hours a week for $30-$35k per year, you are taxed at all levels of government to the point where, although you do not qualify for any public aid, you will not live sufficiently better than someone else living solely on welfare!&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The globalists are in constant contention that American's standard of living is unsustainable; that we are decadent, gluttonous, and vastly over consume the planet's precious resources. Of course, I have never heard one of them state that they are giving up any of the luxuries of which they are accustomed. And so, the New World Order is not significantly different from the murderous tyrants of the 20th century. Given the debt the bankers have heaped on future generations, we will go into some form of socialism unless the American remnant can push off the yoke of tyranny. They will do away with the Bill of Rights under the guise of progressivism, tolerance, and equality. They will erase the sovereignty of national borders, turn all of the world's security forces against the pockets of resistance, and create a global middle class of subsistence-level peasants. But at a time when our culture is spiritually sick, our savings is in the midst of destruction, and for millions the future looks quite bleak, it isn't about to get any easier. By nearly any measure, the general public is mentally/spiritually ill. Hope is on the decline, and violence is on the rise. At a time when government is roundly mistrusted and utterly irresponsible in fiscal matters, the police are being used as the state's enforcer, taxman, and bill collector. Moreover, the police (by default) stand as a separation between the government and the people. It is the American political establishment that has put law enforcement officers (LEOs) in this position, and their manipulation is plain to see in the media and on the web. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The trio of articles below lay out this version of the Hegelian Dialectic. Although I doubt that there was any intentional collaboration between the authors of the following pieces, these ideas are rampant on the intellectual outlets for the Law Enforcement community. Each article has been published within the last six-to-eight weeks, and intentionally promotes an antagonistic view of the current societal landscape, and the steps the authors deem necessary to confront it. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;PROBLEM:&lt;a href="http://www.policeone.com/pc_print.asp?vid=1971738"&gt; "Are America's officers at war?"&lt;/a&gt; - Joel F. Shults, Ed.D.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As if the precarious situation that LEOs have been shoved into isn't problematic enough, Chief Joel Schultz of Alamosa, Colorado highlights the recent spike in police homicides. Schultz ties the pain of losing his comrades to the angry taunting of minorities who were on the scene following the shooter's execution, and anonymous message board posts after the well-publicized deaths of three &lt;a href="http://articles.latimes.com/2009/mar/22/local/me-oakland-police-shooting22"&gt;Oakland police officers&lt;/a&gt;:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; "They will say the officers “got what they deserved” and that the public has lost confidence, that police are a violent racist occupying force. One blog said, “As the police and media work to defame and slander Lovelle Mixon [the murderer], we express our total solidarity.”"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;It is not difficult to find hate-laced tirades against anyone, on any subject in the anonymous world of internet message boards (police officers not excluded). Surprisingly, Schultz seems most concerned about "a perfect storm of social factors" leading to widespread public criticism of heavy-handed police actions. In the wake of the recent rash of police murders, Schultz is just as concerned with media and public criticism of law enforcement agencies. He uses rhetoric that intends to anger fellow officers, and then attempts to psychologically profile those who are critical of the police; suggesting that anyone tired of police using brutal force against fellow citizens have some dangerous larger agenda. Rather than performing any self-evaluation, particularly regarding attitudes within minority populations, Schultz determines "we need to take the kind of connect-the-dots examination of patterns of violence that we have learned to do with terrorism." Like many posts on LEO forums like &lt;a href="http://policeone.com/"&gt;policeone.com&lt;/a&gt;,&lt;a href="http://officer.com/"&gt;officer.com&lt;/a&gt;, and &lt;a href="http://policelink.monster.com/"&gt;policelink&lt;/a&gt;, the article sends a powerful (if not subconscious) message to the casual reader: You are at war! It's you against the world! And that's a dangerous precedent to set.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;REACTION: &lt;a href="http://www.policeone.com/pc_print.asp?vid=1989236"&gt;"SWAT options for multiple shooter terrorist attacks"&lt;/a&gt; - Lt. Andrew Esposito&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If we are to accept the thesis of Mr. Schultz, then the officer on the beat is no longer a public servant, but a soldier in a war zone against a determined enemy. The predictable recommendation is that the police are too lightly armed against potential crises like those in &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beslan_school_hostage_crisis"&gt;Beslan&lt;/a&gt; and &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mumbai_massacre"&gt;Mumbai&lt;/a&gt; in recent years. Lieutenant Andrew Esposito, Commander of Rockland County, NY's (REACT) anti-terror unit, warns of the need to investigate "how to deal with terrorism, whether it is domestic or foreign." Lt. Esposito bemoans the restraint that Posse Comitatus puts onto law enforcement in these United States:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; "We, on the other hand, follow the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878 (meaning “the power of the county”), which was passed following the civil war after the federal government used troops to uphold the law, or “occupy”, the south in an effort to stabilize the country. Due to this statue, which was passed over one hundred years ago, our country is now more vulnerable."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Well, Lieutenant, the Bill of Rights is a couple of centuries old. Has it become outdated? Common Law has served as our legal framework for a half of a millennium, should we get rid of it, too? This article serves as an attempt to justify a return to an ugly period in American history, the &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reconstruction_era_of_the_United_States"&gt;Reconstruction era&lt;/a&gt;, which effectively diluted our republican form of government. Those state boundaries represent the people's only safeguard from a tyrannical federal government. We are not Cuba or Pakistan, and we do not want soldiers in our streets. Lt. Esposito believes that "due to Posse Comitatus, [law enforcement] response will be slow, and too late." The Lieutenant spends the rest of the article laying out the shortfalls of police capability to handle mass hostage-type attacks, and the lacking capacity for LEOs to serve as infantryman in an emergency. This piece serves to illustrate the perceived necessity for the army to be able to operate as another asset of law enforcement inside the US.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;SOLUTION: &lt;a href="http://www.rand.org/pubs/monographs/MG819/"&gt;A Stability Police Force for the United States&lt;/a&gt; - RAND &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Corporation&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Right on cue, the infamous Rand Corporation has released their plan for a hybrid Army/civilian high-end policing outfit; the Stability Police Force (SPF) for America. Amazingly, this report outlines just the type of force, with the type of capabilities, called for in Lt. Esposito's article. In their introduction, they skirt around the fact that the unit is intended for domestic operations. But in contemplating the current strategy options, Rand concludes that the current status of forces is:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; "constrained by the limits placed on its ability to perform civilian policing functions by the Posse Comitatus Act. Without relief from this constraint, it could not take advantage of the opportunities provided the hybrid staffing option to develop and maintain the needed skills."&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Those who had been tasked to put this report together almost certainly had a primary objective of justifying an end to Posse Comitatus, a frightening thought for any liberty concerned historian. The authors skillfully frame the debate around the need for an effective police force with availability for rapid foreign deployment. The SPF "can perform law enforcement functions and so contribute to domestic tranquility and homeland defense when not deployed" p105 (anyone else thinking 'enemy combatant status'?). Ah, yes, they will contribute to domestic tranquility and receive vital training; RAND has it all figured out. They envision something of a European model of deployment, and lay it out as such:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; "forces perform civilian functions when they are not deployed abroad. For instance, Carabinieri officers perform a range of civilian tasks in Italy, such as countering organized crime and conducting crowd and riot control. Gendarmerie officers are deployed under the Ministry of Interior in France, and routinely perform such tasks as criminal investigations and highway patrol. We concluded that this practice of engaging in civilian tasks on a routine basis was extremely useful preparation for when the organizations deployed abroad during stability operations. Such experience is difficult to get only through training." &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The report touted that SPF soldiers "working as police officers would greatly contribute to the state of training and readiness of SPF personnel." The leadership in domestic law enforcement agencies accept this concept wholeheartedly. For them, better some innocent men be imprisoned than any "criminal" live free. The results more than a half century later are evident by the government and media obsession over an unending string of bogeymen: shadowy networks of covert terrorists, and irrational rogue states plotting our moment of destruction that draws nearer every passing minute. The war profiteers and their financiers own our politicians and the mainstream media, and as a result we have never benefited from any peace dividend, even twenty years after the end of the cold war!&lt;br /&gt;Of course, the 9/11 attacks (and the Department of Homeland Security) have lain the way for unprecedented levels of spending on domestic security. Those who have studied the 9/11 operation understand by now that, whatever went down on that cloudless Tuesday morning, there was a lot more going on than what was written in the 9/11 Commission Report and dutifully parroted by the corporate media. The fear, confusion, and downright panic that followed that fateful day behooved any attempt to discuss the nature of the attack and the impossibility of the Afghan cave dwellers to have single handedly forced the NORAD stand down and caused the WTC7 implosion, as well. Within three years of the attack, I knew that the terrorist threat had been outrageously overstated. Even under the tight scrutiny of FBI/CIA surveillance, if any single terrorist cell in the United States existed they would need to strike &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;something&lt;/span&gt; within a three year period to show their followers that they indeed were still at war, and had not been absolutely decimated. If the threat was as grave as the likes of Dick Cheney would have us believe in the days after the attack (you know, Mr. "It's not a matter of if, but when" the next attack is coming), then al-Qaeda would have struck &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;somewhere&lt;/span&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;That said, DHS is helping to fund the full-body scanners in our airports, massive surveillance networks in even small cities, LRAD sonic weaponry (already used on non-violent protesters), armored vehicles for our police departments, license plate readers on our streets, and on, and on, and on. Quite a blossoming industry has grown up around the police state that we are all to live for the rest of our lives! And you should know who is providing all this gear to the authorities (at federal taxpayer's expense, of course). As our economy continues to fall, be aware that the less-lethal weapons won't be to protect you from the violent criminals, they will protect the criminals in government from you! Yes, peaceful protest will be banned as unauthorized assembly, and you will be forced to disperse by all types of fun little toys. The banks, and the Fortune 500 have their tentacles deeply into the domestic control grid trough. Innumerable small start-up companies have grown quickly to provide local authorities with vast and advanced public surveillance capabilities. The list of players is large enough to fill a whole book, but below is a primer of some of the largest and most outrageous proliferators of anti-liberty technology.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;Private Security:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.xecompany.com/"&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Xe&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/a&gt; (Formerly Blackwater)&lt;br /&gt;As dirty as their past has been, my concern isn't as much what Xe has done (although they apparently ran around New Orleans after &lt;a href="http://www.thenation.com/doc/20051010/scahill"&gt;Hurricane Katrina&lt;/a&gt; much like they did in Baghdad), but what they may do in the future. Suppose Interpol, who now has &lt;a href="http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/executive-order-amending-executive-order-12425"&gt;diplomatic immunity&lt;/a&gt; operating within the US, contracts out some work to these psychopaths- that's one frightening thought. As ugly a choice this group is,(what are the alternatives? DynCorp? Maybe, KBR?) our ostensibly liberal government is still giving them hundreds of millions of dollars in contracts! The Heritage Foundation seems to favor this option for criminal rehabilitation. In a time where ever-expanding law turns everyone into a criminal of some sort, this is just too easy a way for corrupt cops, judges, and "businessmen" to require quotas to fill those beds and make the shareholders happy. Over the decades, they have put forward a myriad of outrageous and profoundly un-American ideas for federal, state, and local governments. They masquerade as a harmless non-profit advisory body, but it is clear that they work at the behest of powerful corporate interests, the military-industrial complex, and the international socialist power structure. They undermine our Constitutional republic, and most recently have proposed a federal militarized police "stabilization force" to be used against US citizens. ACS, recently acquired by Xerox, has jumped on the police state bandwagon enthusiastically, producing red-light and speed cameras to law enforcement agencies across the nation. We all know that this trend is less about safety, and more about revenue generation for irresponsible government. Photo enforcement companies customarily receive upwards of one-third of the revenue generated from each ticket. For this reason, look for the Fortune 500 to flock towards this type of investment, with capital gains guaranteed by government force. What happened to the right to face our accuser? Thanks to Federal Signal, we are all guilty until proven innocent when traveling. For now, the public is assured that ALPRs will help track down stolen vehicles and indicted fugitives. But the technology will evolve to electronically verify your insurance, and even to identify "scofflaws" with unpaid parking tickets. Imagine what a corrupt government can do with the proliferation of this technology. They could determine that your travel is unessential, or that you have not obtained a permit to be in a certain part of town. The &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_Denial_System"&gt;Active Denial System&lt;/a&gt; (ADS) has been coming down the pike for awhile now, but it has &lt;a href="http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn16339-us-police-could-get-pain-beam-weapons.html"&gt;been demonstrated domestically&lt;/a&gt; for use by law enforcement. The "pain ray" is a type of directed energy weapon that could supposedly reduce injuries like those suffered from rubber bullets or billy clubs. It's like a taser, but its use would leave no visible marks on ones body, only the memory of pain in your psyche. O'er the land of the cowards, and the home of the slaves (America-btw), the portable electroshock device has proven itself a cop's best friend. “You can gain compliance just by having it,” said &lt;a href="http://www.rrstar.com/carousel/x1669487853/Loves-Park-police-will-resume-Taser-use-others-on-hold"&gt;Jeff Petty&lt;/a&gt;, a Loves Park (IL) police Taser instructor. “The value of that is priceless. A lot of times people will say, ‘Don’t tase me! Don’t tase me! Sometimes just the presence of a Taser can calm a situation down.” Unless, of course, YOU TASE HIM! Police cheerleaders and other neocon-bootlicker-types, who bow in reverence to the festooned badgery, cheered and snickered at &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Florida_Taser_incident"&gt;Andrew Meyer&lt;/a&gt; (you know, the "Don't tase me, bro" guy from the University of Florida). Four police, who were each pinning down a limb, found it necessary to shock the young man in front of a public audience. Tasers were supposedly originally deployed as an alternative to the use of deadly force, but in this case (like many, many others) UF officers used it as a form of punishment. As the Taser instructor stated above, their goal is to gain compliance.&lt;br /&gt;         Below are the names of the thirty-four men killed by American law enforcement tasers in the last six months. Now, I would not sit here and try to defend all of these individuals: some attacked officers with weapons, but some were mentally ill, and others were just trying to run away. We must let our local law enforcement agencies know that we are against cruel and unusual punishment, and tasers are exactly that. Moreover, until it is made clear that tasers cannot be used to dish out punishment (ie. torture), they should be off our streets. People can accept using a taser to thwart an attack against a suspect with a weapon-- and if the taser kills him, it was the perpetrators own fault. But we must no longer accept casualties to irresponsible LEOs who use the device to teach a lesson to a restrained suspect, or to subdue someone because they're too lazy to do the physical part of the job.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;*God Bless the families and friends of those who have been killed at the hands of Taser, &lt;br /&gt; International. In my 28 years on this earth, I have had plenty of encounters with law enforcement. Like in all walks of life, we are stuck with the bad along with the good. I believe that, as I have stated previously, our government has become like a cancer to our once prosperous and free society. Offshore banks and multinational corporations have essentially bought off both parties in our political system. As throughout history, many peace officers have answered the call to serve and protect their communities with the same dignity, honor, and respect for the law-abiding citizen as in generations past. But when government becomes self-serving and corrupt, it ever increasingly spends more resources protecting its own power and authority. On this foundation forms a culture of arrogance and suspicion, and make no mistake-- the Feds are largely to blame. At least in suburban and rural America, local police forces are the most professional as they are directly responsive to their communities. It is the Homeland Security sponsored "events," such as at the G20 or at the many federally granted police checkpoints, that police abuse is most rampant. For some reason, when you get State, County, and local police together, &lt;a href="http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2009/12/01/witness_suggests_brutality_by_police/"&gt;people end up dead&lt;/a&gt;. And now the military is becoming increasingly involved in civilian policing, in violation of the century and a half old Posse Comitatus Act that has served us well.&lt;br /&gt;    We need police reform. More law enforcement agencies involved means less accountability and more plausible deniability. We, the people, are neighbors and co-stakeholders with the police. This relationship worked for a couple hundred years in our country, and it can still work today. &lt;a href="http://www.policeone.com/Officer-Safety/articles/1971738-Are-police-officers-in-the-United-States-at-war/"&gt;This article&lt;/a&gt; is particularly troubling for those of us who seek to lessen the tension with our local police. The Vancouver police have already announced their purchase of the &lt;a href="http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2009/11/10/bc-long-range-accoustic-device-vancouver-police.html"&gt;medium-range acoustic device&lt;/a&gt; (MRAD), the somewhat smaller cousin of the LRAD used against protesters in Pittsburgh in September during the G20 summit. The VPD has assured Canadians that the sonic weapon will ostensibly serve as an extremely overpriced public address system. But evidence has already surfaced that the Canadian authorities are seeking to deny entrance to individuals likely to engage in speech critical of t&lt;a href="http://www.vancouverobserver.com/blogs/editorsdesk/2009/11/09/ridiculous-scenarios-press-vancouver-police-department-andor-isu"&gt;he government&lt;/a&gt;. Indeed, the Olympic Games have become little more than an opportunity for the politicians to have a grand gala (while enriching their cronies) at the expense of the lives of average citizens. Rumors persist that the homeless &lt;a href="http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2009/11/25/bc-homeless-legislation-protest.html"&gt;will be rounded up&lt;/a&gt; and moved to some out of the way place for the length of the games. After all, you can't have &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;street people&lt;/span&gt; walking around the city. Nor can you have dissent in the streets while the whole world is watching!&lt;br /&gt;     If I didn't know better, one could conclude that Canada is in the midst of an internal military lock-down, complete with victim disarmament! The Toronto Chief of Police has instituted &lt;a href="http://www.cp24.com/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20090922/090922_guns/20090922/?hub=CP24Home"&gt;Project Safe City&lt;/a&gt;, which sought to round-up nominally illegal firearms that had expired registrations and the like. At the same time, the Defence Department has rolled out the new &lt;a href="http://www.ottawacitizen.com/business/Soldiers+could+uniforms+urban+jungle/2230598/story.html"&gt;Canadian Urban Environment Pattern&lt;/a&gt; for its soldiers deployed to major urban centers like Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto. The governments of the US, Canada, Britain, and Australia are clearly all reading from the same script. Long established separations between the military and civilian law enforcement are being blurred, and unfortunately, the enemy is: YOU.&lt;br /&gt;     Out of love for the free men and women of Canada, Police State Watch will continue to monitor developments north of the 49th parallel. Will we stand up for anything? Is there any level of corruption and inhumanity that will ignite the righteous indignation of a docile citizenry? Searching the headlines for cases of excessive force and brutality perpetrated by our so-called public servants reveals that police forces around our country expect, above all else, unquestioning compliance. It is clear that the federalization of law enforcement has ingrained officers with the &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;us against them&lt;/span&gt; mentality. Although we are forced to pay their salaries and pensions (which are now well above that of the general public), many police strut around suburban and small town USA wearing their body armor, as if they are patrolling Baghdad or the fictional Farmington neighborhood from the popular FX series "The Shield." Although even the freest society requires a mechanism for enforcing the rule of law, the law (like government more generally) has become too omnipotent in society today. We must demand a change in posture from those in positions of law enforcement.&lt;br /&gt;     The media and popular culture have glorified the badge, teaching a highly suggestible public that the police are above reproach. Moreover, society tells its youth that rather than achieving wealth and earning influence in life, a badge is a quick way to gain authority over others. It is not a stretch to assume that this draws some of the darker elements of society into law enforcement. Despite an attempt to weed out the bad seeds through the process of psychological testing, they are clearly on the streets. The culture must change if we are to have police who do not join the force for the sheer power that the badge provides. We need peace officers who are students of natural rights and the constitution, not an army of shock troops stopping people and demanding compliance!&lt;br /&gt;     Rather than an alternative to the use of deadly force, the taser has become an oppressor's method of obtaining &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;pain compliance&lt;/span&gt;.  In total disregard for the 8th Amendment, law enforcement agencies across the land carry this portable electroshock weapon. The taser has killed hundreds in the US alone, often because of multiple or repeated shocks from trigger happy police. Indeed, many are subjected to shocks for simply questioning or disagreeing with an officer. It will probably take many hundred more outrageous deaths before authorities realize that power mad cops cannot be trusted to exhibit the discernment and restraint required to use such a device. As shown on the PSW map, the Cedar Falls (Iowa) police department is now equipped with a taser shotgun that they're likely itching to try out. These supposedly less-lethal munitions are likely to continue seeing widespread deployment in our communities unless we speak out now! In creating the Police State map, I have sought to publicize particularly aggregious cases of taser misuse: most recently the cases of Rolando Ruiz in Minneapolis and Glen Wilcox in Alaska. In discussing the actions of police at the G-20 in Pittsburgh last September, most commentators will freely admit their biased willingness to side with the cops, while downplaying video evidence of the thuggish treatment of demonstrators (you know, "we don't see the context of why the officer struck the young lady in the face").  A free people are not required to submit to the demands of any person wearing a badge.  We the people are not medieval serfs who must bow down to the crown.  Your badge represents the job &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;that you chose&lt;/span&gt;- it does not convey any absolute authority over law-abiding citizens in a constitutional republic.&lt;br /&gt;   Our beloved US Constitution, together with a historically moral citizenry, has been responsible for creating the most universally free and prosperous society in the history of mankind.  Nevertheless, over the course of many decades, the statist has managed to circumvent the firewalls that once protected the people from the strong hand of government.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial,Arial,Helvetica;"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;"  &gt;&lt;b&gt;"Any people that would give up       liberty for a little temporary safety deserves neither liberty nor       safety." &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128);"&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Benjamin Franklin&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Would anyone argue that the framers of our constitution had intended for law-enforcement to have extra-constitutional powers such as, the adorably named, sneak and peek.  Does anyone think that Patrick Henry could have foreseen the day when the American people would capitulate to a knock-and-talk, at the hands of their own countrymen. Would Benjamin Franklin have submitted to a stop and frisk of his person?  These practices, among many others, run contrary to the spirit in which our Constitution was written.  Their implementation, generally upheld by the Supreme Court (no less!), is more fitting of King George's kangaroo court.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Particularly in the aftermath of 9/11, We all let our guard down and as a result, the US government is a virtually sovereign institution unto itself. The politicians, bureaucrats, and the globe's most monied interests preserve their own wealth and power, at taxpayer expense.  Manipulated by the media fear mongering, the American people have submitted their freedom for a little perceived security.  Today, the system (owned by a small corporate banking elite) has turned it guns inward, with Homeland Security naming any opponent of its policies as potentially violent extremists.  Even nonviolent protest is viewed as 'low level terrorism' by the DoD.  I guess it is true: if the government is run by criminals, then I guess good patriotic Americans are their number one threat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial,Arial,Helvetica;"&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:Arial;font-size:85%;"  &gt;&lt;b&gt;"Our constitution was made only for       a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of       any other."  &lt;span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 128);"&gt;John Adams&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;The truth is, We have become a cowardly people, unfit to govern ourselves.  If the government claims it must infringe on our rights, or keep secrets from us, we willingly shrug our shoulders and accept the encroaching tyranny?  HELL NO!  We must re-discover the good Lord and the spirit of liberty.  We must reject the establishment's justifications for this police state that has been created.  Finally, we must see our bondage for what it is. We are beginning to see a schism between American youth, who are watching the generation in power destroy their formerly wealthy and free nation, and the guardians of the status-quo.  One brief note for those who aren't in the know: &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;America's problems have nothing to do with the color of the president's skin&lt;/span&gt;.  Unfortunately, young Americans will not soon agree on the size and breadth of the government they would like to see.  But, we do know one thing: what we have seen in recent weeks in Pittsburgh and Rochester are not it!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I would suggest three steps in the right direction that most all of us could agree.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1.) DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT WHEN EXERCISING CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS.  We must stand together in numbers, armed with cameras to capture crimes committed against us.  We must denounce those who speak of violence, and watch vigilantly for agent provocateurs.  We must revive sit-ins, where our cameras can prove that protesters were subdued, and therefore could not be the initiators of violence.  Any aggression against us in this way cannot be justified by the media.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2.) Support measures to audit, and then end the fed!  Our debt based economy has benefited too few for too long. The private and run-for-profit Federal Reserve has been the ultimate good old boy's network since 1913.  The dollar has lost 95 percent of its value since the Fed's inception, and the globalists have used it to finance their world empire and the military-industrial-complex.  The Wall St. banksters have leveraged our very lives and labor in order to continue to consolidate control over every facet of society.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3.) Begin the conversation with representatives about permanently disbanding the Department of Homeland Security.  They have quickly gone from securing the nation against Muslim sleeper cells, to calling peaceful protests "low level terrorism" (Google that one if you don't believe me).  Basically, if you strongly believe in any cause, or if you are against any US Government policy, you may be a domestic extremist according to Homeland Security.  The DHS is setting up military liaisons within your local police department.  They are providing law enforcement with armored vehicles, the Orwellian LRAD devices from the G-20, and soon we may see the Active Denial microwave guns deployed in our cities.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;As one lone voice in the wilderness, I thank anyone who faced down the state-sanctioned oppression and persecution in Pittsburgh and Rochester.  It seems likely that this is only the beginning, as we know the New World Order has prescribed austerity and tyranny for the American people.  Forget about Democrats versus Republicans. Third party candidates should be considered, but mainly we must focus on an individual's record.  And if they have no clear record, FORGET THEM!  We need pro-liberty candidates for local, state, and federal office. America's founders, most of whom were steeped in Judeo-Christian teachings and those of classical liberalism, understood that every life has value, and each citizen has a right to equal protection under the law.  Sadly, our immoral citizenry has acquiesced to a system that judges a person's value solely on their ability to make money.  As a result, our institutions of government, higher education, and civil society itself accept the domination of a tiny monied elite.  Our fiat, debt-based monetary system is operated at their behest.  Our government works to fulfill their bleak vision of the future, regulating the people to their benefit.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Whether this &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Illuminati &lt;/span&gt;amount to a dozen families, four thousand oligarchs, or a class of a few million planetary bureaucrats- they are vastly outnumbered and could be brought to justice for their crimes against humanity.  We do not have to live in perpetual debt and servitude!  The problem, it seems, is that most any person of even modest influence (ie. any prominent voice or salary) perceives themselves to be part of the power structure; a member of &lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;the establishment&lt;/span&gt;.  This, of course, is absurd!  It is a symptom of a godless society, where personal and professional success lead to an ignorant love of self above all else.  If we accept the Darwinian concepts of evolution and the "survival of the fittest", rejecting God as the creator, then we will have no compassion for the less fortunate.   After all, if the most powerful among us have an absolute and scientific right to dominate, then we have no need for any rule of law because might equals right.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sadly, there seems to be no place for biblical Christianity in today's society.   Disinformation is rampant, and the mainstream media promotes globalist propaganda and a culture of mindless entertainment rather than actual investigative journalism.  Conservative talk radio hosts like  Limbaugh, Levin, Savage, etc. speak the truth about the ills of big government, but they support the establishment in other ways:  exhibiting a general disdain for the poor and downtrodden, and practice hero-worship of the police and military.  The recent G20 police riots in Pittsburgh exemplify the drummed up fear of 'anti-conformists.'  What is more threatening?: A dozen skinny teenagers dressed in black and wearing bandannas,  or thousands of stomping storm troopers, secret police, and camouflaged paramilitaries exercising for war against the American people.  This is completely irrational!  And for what?, to protect a system that has already stolen our standard of living, and in our names created a debt that can never be repaid!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;They use our own tax money to oppress us, bringing law enforcement from around the country as a show of force against individualism.  Their tactics of intimidation provoke outrage in sovereign individuals, who can still think for themselves.  Unfortunately, the majority believes that the robocops are protecting their interests. Now we are all succumbing to debt, and the state is becoming desperate for more funds to feed its fix. The public is being squeezed by an ever expanding police state that has been set loose by a small minority of sick elites.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Para-military secret police and SWAT teams dressed in black uniforms are not a sign of a free andb healthy society secure in its liberty. Millions of CCTV cameras, speed and red-light cameras, and other remote law enforcement devices have become as recognizable on the American landscape as the fruited plains.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The DHS and the Patriot Act were not created in a few weeks as a response to 9/11. Now, as the government anti-terror apparatus is turned in on us: the Christian, the conservative, the defender of the Constitution, the police are being trained that We are the enemy. No longer are they fighting TERRORISM (which brings to mind suicide bombers and frightening turban-wearing men in caves), they fight EXTREMISM, namely, those who are "bitter clingers" to guns and religion who are resistance to the inevitable CHANGE.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Note that their brand of change is neither democratic, nor is it particularly humane. Their programs of transformational change have been very gradual over the last 100 to 150 years, but their agenda is speeding up rapidly as our quality of life declines dramatically.
